Rakaab is an online bus ticketing aggregator that enables travelers to book bus tickets from the comfort of their home or office. Through Rakaab, passengers can choose from multiple bus operators, select departure times, and compare prices. Rakaab does not own or operate any bus services.
The arrival and departure times mentioned on the ticket are tentative and may be affected by unavoidable circumstances such as traffic delays.
Buses will not depart earlier than the scheduled time mentioned on the ticket.
Passengers are advised to contact the bus operator using the number provided on the ticket to reconfirm the boarding location and departure time on the day of travel.
Passengers must present the following at the time of boarding:
SMS or email confirmation of the ticket.
Printed ticket if the bus operator does not accept electronic tickets (details are provided during booking).
Proof of identity: Voter ID, National ID, Driving License, Passport, or Work ID.
Passengers should reach the boarding point at least 30 minutes before departure.
Complaints or grievances must be reported within one week from the date of travel.
A booking is considered confirmed once the confirmation page is displayed, even if SMS/email fails to deliver.
If confirmation or cancellation messages are not received, the Rakaab support team can resend them upon request. Delays or failures in SMS/email delivery are outside Rakaab’s control.
Rakaab does not charge additional payment gateway or service fees, unless specified on the booking details page.
Generating a valid bus ticket through partner operators.
Sending SMS/email for ticket confirmation or cancellation.
Providing voice/email support for ticket booking, cancellation, or refund issues.
Rakaab is not liable for:
Incorrect information provided by the customer during booking.
Bus delays, breakdowns, service cancellations, or accidents.
Misbehavior by operator staff or fellow passengers.
Loss or damage of baggage.
Late arrival at the boarding point by the customer.
Customer phone being unreachable or operator not contacting the customer.
Waiting at the wrong boarding point.
Manual changes of seat numbers by the bus operator.
Changes in boarding point by the operator.
Operator restrictions on carrying pets.
Improper booking by an agent (contact the agent directly).
Operator not providing in-bus amenities/facilities listed during booking.
Change of bus type by the operator.
Bus fares and fare variations based on seat selection; Rakaab does not control fares.
Rules for carrying luggage, including additional baggage, cartons, or valuables; operators have discretion to refuse boarding if luggage is inappropriate. Passengers should confirm directly with the operator for special luggage.
